Is NMR a charity?

NMR is not recognized by the State of California as a non-profit organization. Therefore, any donations made to our club are not tax deductible. Technically, NMR is not a charity. However, we do believe in charitable events. That is why so much of our club is focused on community service. If you have chosen to donate to our club and are concerned about where that money has gone, we would be happy to send you any reciepts or invoices that you might request. It is not our intention to use NMR for personal gain and none of our members recieve a profit from being involved. Club funds are used soley for club purposes. This includes, but is not limited to: supplies for community events, items purchased for charities such as Turlock Together and the Red Cross, and paying for the domain name on the website. Funds are also used to help the members pay for Tshirts and attend the planned monthly social events if they are not equipt to pay for them on their own. We want everyone that wants to be involved to have the chance to do so. We have adults helping us make sure that we are only spending responsibly.
